flopner Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I just started using the commands SOLVIEW and SOLDRAW in autocad 2000, they work fine but when i turn off the viewports in the layout and start to dimension with the automatically generated layers, (top dim) etc., the dimensions have a problem appearing or are halfway there. Is that a driver or graphics card problem or can i do something to the way they are formatted?- thank you Quote
ReMark Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 What are the specs on your graphics card? How many viewports in this particular drawing? Does the problem occur only in this one drawing or in all 3D drawings where Solview and Soldraw have been used? Quote
flopner Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 Thanks for your responce. The computer is old, you have to start it with a rope, a gateway running NT4.0 with an x 86 processor, the graphics card is a 1997 stb systems. yes it happens in all 3d drawings and i generally have been using 3 viewports, seting it up per the help file. ReMark Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Could be a graphics problem. How much vidRAM on the card? If you shut off two of the three viewports does the problem still occur? Quote
