Slinger1010
When subtracting one object from another is there a way to not lose the object that defines the region being subtracted? (i.e object defining subtraction area disappears after command is used). For now I make copies of this object and use it to either do other subtractions or I just plain don't want it to disappear. Hope I made sense. Ron

fuccaro
I think the sysvar Delobj exists in AutoCAD 2000. Try to enter DELOBJ in the command line. If it prompts you for a new value, enter 0. If it doesn't recognise the command, you are out of luck; make copies before subtract. Oh, and welcome in the forum, Slinger1010!
