I've simply closed ACAD and installed the VBA Module for any of my previous installed but for 2023 it doesn't pick it up.

I've done this:

Closed ACAD

I've downloaded the 2023 module and installed it from https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/downloads/caas/downloads/content/download-the-microsoft-vba-module-for-autocad.html

Opened ACAD again and ran the command _vbaide. But it's showing me this below.

What gives?

It is showing not installed, sorry no 2023 so can not test, sounds like an Admin setting issue when installing. Some downloads you need to go to properties and down bottom click unlock.

In c:/Program files/Autodesk there should be a directory called "AutoCAD 2023 VBA Enabler" if installed check to see if its there.

This is the first installer I remember which never asked me to choose the location. It says it's successfully installed but I've using everything to search for folders or files containing VBA Enabler but no searchy. Just finds the .exe on the desktop.

I've tried to right-click on the exe and run as admin but that didn't work either.

Apart from click "Advanced" button in properties and unblock no idea, the other thing is your virus detect maybe stopping it.

Contact Autodesk and see what they say. Seems another problem 2023.

Interesting when did Autodesk announce VBA would not be supported ? Like 2017 maybe now have 2023.
