The AutoCAD Blog
We’re excited to share another Have You Tried article with you as we take a deep dive into the JOIN command, specifically for 2D objects. Have you ever offset objects only to end up modifying those objects so they touch end to end? Or maybe you wanted to turn several objects into a single object to make them easier to modify. In this new Have You Tried, we go over the basics of joining 2D objects, including: Joining 2D lines Joining arcs Using the Close option to close an arc to create a circle Joining 2D lines and arcs to create a 2D polyline Learn how the JOIN command can simplify your drawings and make it easier to modify objects with the step-by-step examples in Have You Tried: Joining 2D Objects. Keep the Feedback Coming Thanks for all the great feedback submitted so far. Because of the great feedback, we have been able to improve the topics in the AutoCAD Online Help system. The best way to submit feedback is by using the “Was this helpful?” section located at the bottom of every Help topic. Let us know what you like or don’t like about a topic or provide suggestions for other subjects that you’d like to see covered in greater detail. The more specific your comments, the better.
