darn-net Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 You could also use matchprop to match properties between open drawings. It works well to copy dimension styles also. After you select an object the command line gives you an option for settings. The settings lets you control what you want to match. Quote

The layer will remain there. What if you need to bring in 100 layers? Design Center is the way to go. You can bring in the layers without all of the dimstyles, textstyles, linetypes etc. that come in with geometry. Quote
