memphis710
Hi all, Just a quick question, I have put together a set of floor plans and used the tool pallette to convert a basic single line floor layout into 'solid' cavity and stud walls. I now need to import this into sketchup to build up a simple 3d model to present to a client. Is there a way of converting the walls back into 2d linework so I am left with just the outline of the walls? Oh, and possibly without sitting there and drawing them manually please Cheers - Edit: Simple resolution. Forgot you can explode the walls Works a treat so far
BIGAL
You did it backwards you can assign a "thickness" to a line, use 4 parrallel lines with a thickness = wall height just view in a 3d direction instant walls.
f700es
Since you have ADT go to a plan view and use the export to autocad command and it should give you a nice flat 2D drawing. It did when I used ADT-05. Look under the file menu for the export to autocad command.
