FUNWITHCAD Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 _scale command seems to only give the option of a 3d scale. Is it possible to scale in 1d, 2d, or to a length value (x,y,z) in AutoCAD? Thanks for the flurry of feedback:huh: Quote

You will have to make a block of the objects you want to scale, insert the block with varying x,y scales, finally explode the block. Be sure to check, allow exploding. And uncheck scale uniformly, and annotative. Quote
FUNWITHCAD Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 I gave it a go and ran into a snag. When inserting the block with varying scales the y & z are 'grayed out' and are not allowing me to set a non uniform scale. When I try it "Specify On Screen" the command line then reads, "Specify scale for XYZ axis:". At that point can I enter a scale factor like X=1, Y=3.5, Z=1? Quote
rkent Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Uncheck Uniform Scale below the grayed out Y and Z scales. Quote
