Hi all i have created blocks to insert on top of hatch's although once inserted it is as if the hatch is transparent as i can see the hatching through the block can help please thanks again.

I suppose you could use WIPEOUT, but probably not the best solution.

i sorted it out, easily by just drawing the blocks first and then hatching around them:oops: :oops: :oops: thanks lol

Did you try trimming the hatch using the block's entities as the trim edges?

Don't know if i understood your problem correctly, but if you want to have a block on top of a hatch, and not to see the hatch nderneath, you can always use "bedit" command and edit the block by putting a white solid fill underneath all the other block components, this way, when you print the drawing on white paper it will seem that you don't have any hatch undeneath the block, but in reality there will be, this will not affect the hatch AREA properties in case you need to preserve them. A very primitive solution, but it comes in handy when I ned to put up road signs in my drawings :)
