Krztoff
Hello, I am having a little problem that gets a bit annoying and I can't seem to understand why it keeps hapening. The problem is, when I open a drawing that I have made (with Xrefs and annotative dimension styles) I can work fine for some time, and after a while all the annotative dimensions that have been made earlier or in the current session, become read-only, meaning, I can't edit them, nor delete them nor nothing... i can work with everything else withut a problem, no objects have become read-only, except the dimensions. I have to close the drawing and re-open it, then I can edit them again. I want to understand what causes this? I'm using CIVIL 3D 2008. Thank you for your time! lpseifert
Do an audit; you don't necessarily need to fix the errors (hint... make a button because you'll probably do it a lot) I contacted Adesk support about this, their response was, more or less, "Yeah we know". skipsophrenic
I contacted Adesk support about this, their response was, more or less, "Yeah we know". Well that's less than helpful. Wonder if it was even worth your time to contact them?
lpseifert
They said that it was on their list of things to do. I don't know if it was fixed in 2009 or 2010.
Krztoff
Good to see that it's not some error that I have generated myself I will try auditing the drawing tomorrow when I will be at work. Thanks guys!
Krztoff
Auditing the drawing helps, and while it's beeing audited I can relax my eyes Thanks again!
