Spacefabricator
Good Morning, I hope this isn't too late, I am also joining objects, and please let me know if there is already info on this, I searched through the forum but didn't see anything. Let me lay out the scenario: I have 3 rectangles of various dimensions that have been extruded to various widths. I am stacking them from largest to smallest. I know how to create a block by selecting them all and yada yada yada. How do create a solid figure from the stack? I don't want the various lines to show between the layers of blocks. Do I need to explode the blocks before I create a solid object and trim, or is there an easier method? I am taking an AutoCad course at the local college, but there isn't any real explanation we just experiment with various commands. With that said, its a little overwhelming to a new user to have to search through help file, when you don't really know what your looking to define. Thanks in advance. CarlB
Try the "union" command. Oh yes good morning, it's 9:30 in the evening here.
Tiger
Hi Spacefabricator, and welcome to the forum I've moved your post to it's own thread - please don't post a new question on the end of an old thread - if you can't find the answer with Search, always start a new thread for each new question.
