CADIDAC
I have used the overkill command in older versions of Autocad. Is there a command similar to this in Autocad 2007 or 2008? Thanks in advance.
SLW210
It is called _OVERKILL. Or Express>Modify>Delete Duplicate Objects
CADIDAC
If I don't have express tools, is there an autolsp that will perform the same function?
SLW210
If I don't have express tools, is there an autolsp that will perform the same function? Express Tools should have come with your install.
CADIDAC
I am actually using it in a computer lab at a school, and what you get here is pretty much what you get
SLW210
Tell them to install the Express Tools. Somebody is in charge. Try this....
CADIDAC
Thanks, but for some reason that lsp doesn't seem to work?
lpseifert
Do a search on your computer for acetmain.cui (that's Express tools' CUI file). If it's found, use Menuload to load it. If you do, make sure the Express folder is in Acad's search path.
SLW210
Try this one.

Krn_England
And if the express menu is loaded but none of the functions work? ...all are unknown.
ReMark
And if the express menu is loaded but none of the functions work? ...all are unknown. Refer to post #8.
Krn_England
That is exactly what I did. The problem is that the express tools are loaded but are inactive, as a result I am unable to use them. None of the key commands work, even the icons are just a series of question marks.
ReMark
So you verified the path?
nestly
Perhaps type EXPRESSTOOLS at the command line. (I'm not sure if that command works in 2008, but it does in later releases)
