Want to trim large no. of objects off a line

I want to trim a large number of objects crossing my refrence line.

 

I know that I can apply trim and using selection windows I can trim number of objects.

But case is'nt this. my reference line is not a vertical or horizontal and not a straight line.

Can anyone tell a good method to do this.:huh:

If you are sure all objects off your reference line is of no use to you.

 

You can trim all the objects in one command.

 

Type XTRIM command, select the reference line, then the side to be trimmed off.

(or follow what the command line window shows)

 

But be carefull this trims each and every object crossing it, except dashed lines crossing it.

Explore the FENCE command.

Type F once you have selected your ref. line. This allows you to pick any number of points crossing the lines you require trimming. Just hit enter when you're done.
