berol
Using Autocad 2000 LT. Trying to draw a line 2'-63/4" long. I seem to be able to draw a line 2'-6" but when I add the fraction it won't enter. Am in architectual and using 1/32" resolution. Also tried putting a space between 6 and 3/4 and that didn't work. Thanks for the help. ReMark
I think you need to enter this way: 2'6-3/4".

catman
Hi Bero Try this type this into google it gives you some conversion sites convert feet and inches to decimal This is one http://daveosborne.com/dave/articles/decimalfeet.php Rgds and this To convert a number of inches into a decimal fraction of a foot, divide the number of inches by 12. So 1 inch = 0.0833 2 inches = 0.1667 3 inches = 0.25 4 inches = 0.3333 5 inches = 0.4167 6 inches = 0.5 7 inches = 0.5833 8 inches = 0.6667 9 inches = 0.75 10 inches = 0.8333 11 inches = 0.9167 and obviously 12 inches = 1.
