gbotham
Hi there, I'm using AutoCAD 2006 and having trouble with attaching materials and getting the orientation right. Specifically trying to get Corrugated iron roofing to follow the roof slope on different slopes. Also, I get weird swirls and patterns across parts of the roof sometimes, seemingly for no apparent reason. Have spent hours mucking around with all sorts of combinations with no satisfactory result. Please save my sanity.

Please save my sanity. if your problem is on how to get the right oreintation of roof material. you can use plannar mapping its tool icon is on render toolbar on acad06.... use F1 (acad help menu) for more info.... papagyi
Another way is you must create two materials with same texture but different with rotation.(eg..one is normal, another is 90' rotation) Then you can easy attach with two materials and set to planner map!
