awill81 Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Hey all! I'm quite new to creating dynamic blocks. I'm having a little trouble with the Attribute Text. One block I'm creating is a matchline. I am using polar stretch to stretch the matchline to where I want it to align. But the attribute text wont stretch or rotate along with the text. I have no problems with the text, it's the attribute that's stalling me. Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible with attributes? Another block I'm working on is a section marker. The attribute text isn't visible when I insert the block into a drawing. And I'm having to play with the attdisp and attsync variables. Is there a way to overcome this? In both instances, I created the attributes with them locked. Any feedback would be appreciated! Quote
dbroada Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 make sure you LOCK the attribute. It won't move or stretch unless you do that. Quote
awill81 Posted April 8, 2009 Author Posted April 8, 2009 I double checked to make sure they're locked. The lock position in the properties is set to yes. I did notice something else though. It worked fine if I had just one attribute, but when I added a second and third attribute, it goes awol. Quote
awill81 Posted April 8, 2009 Author Posted April 8, 2009 I got it! It was my tags. I didn't have them unique. Actually got the tip from another post here. Thanks a ton! Quote
