Lala Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I have a problem in forcing AutoCAD 2007 to position annotation text above the leader line although the dim style is set as I want. It looks as if later the leader properties would allow putting the text above but then the line is moved to accomodate shifted text. Any suggestions how to solve the problem? Quote
Guest LElkins Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Check the FIT options of you dimension style. Set it to keep arrows in place. Cheers Quote
Lala Posted January 9, 2008 Author Posted January 9, 2008 LElkinks, Thank you for the quick reply. I tried all Fit options while keeping Text placement vertical above -- but unfortunately none of them works. Incidentally, after Dimension update, the text moves above the line, but the line is moved also. It seems that I can't make it right first time! Regards Lala Quote
Guest LElkins Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 If you would like, upload a drawing with the dimension style in it and I will have a look. Cheers Quote

hostmax Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 I really dun understand this AutoCAD 2008... As I create leader... I change text alignment to be Bottom Right, and Paragraph alignment to be "Distribute" ... the text jump above the leader... but after I click OK, the text jumps to the side of the leader line (Like no change has been made) ... Maybe its a function of AutoCAD 2008 Quote
