Mountain_XD Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Please help me Extend Lines. Thank you so much! Extend Lines.dwg Quote
Saxlle Posted June 5 Posted June 5 You don't even need a lisp for that, you can use EXTEND command from autocad. Quote
eldon Posted June 5 Posted June 5 (edited) If you set EDGEMODE to 1, then the selected object will extend to an imaginary extension of the boundary edge. It might be now called TRIMEXTENDMODE, and should be set to 1 Edited June 5 by eldon more info Quote
SLW210 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 How accurate is the posted drawing to what you actually want to do? On some threads, I have seen several simple examples posted originally that ended up having little to do with the OPs actual problem. Quote
Mountain_XD Posted June 6 Author Posted June 6 Thank you Saxlle. If I use extend from command line it will take a long time. I want to scan and select once and the job will be done. Quote

With the posted drawing, and picking the individual points, it would take 34 picks from the command line. Have you tried to use a fence selection? This would decrease your picks to about 10. Or have you tried the lasso selection? Quote
SLW210 Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Is it always just straight lines? If I have time, I'll give it a shot, but today is 1/2 day for me, so likely next week unless I find time at home. IIRC, there should be some multi-fillet LISPs with window selection around, though that might be as tedious as Extend. Fillet with 0 radius will make the lines meet up, but not join.
