It's luckily not for an autocad course... :D but I have to draw some old buildings, which plans, etc. don't exist electronically. furthermore, i have to get more information about this building. on monday is the assignment, but I worked too much to do this stuff.

Oh, so you are going to give up? That's not what I was expecting. OK, so the news wasn't all good but don't abandon ship just yet. What information on this building do you have so far? What is the exact assignment. Surely you aren't expected to include furniture when you draw the building. Was it supposed to be done as a 2D drawing (plans and elevations) and you decided to try doing it in 3D? Come on dude....don't give up!

no, no I don't give up. I ve to draw 3 of these buildings at least in 2d and if I want to have an better grade I should draw all in 3d. The one here in the forum is the second one. The first one I will correct as same as you wrote in your list ( furniture etc.)

you can use 'qselect' if you want to get rid of all the lines in the drawings and just have 3d solids, and usually i use the slice tool>3pt to clean up a surface, or just add a new surface thats flat and extrude it into the uneven one.:o but thats slop, fortunately it doesn't matter for what I'm doing right now
