I like to see the full list of drawings in a folder instead of small icons. To do that I right click on the areas where the files are displayed and select "show list" or "show details". The problem is that whenever I chance the folder or select a file to open and go back to open another file Autocad is already showing me again the "small icons". So my selection is not permanent. Hey there. Long story short: we have 2 old computers running autocad 2002, because we have an old plotter, Synergix 8825, and it was/is going to cost us a ton of money to revamp our CAD department. Lo and behold! One of the dinosaurs died and now we are in a predicament. I am basically looking for the best/cheapest middle ground for an entirely new set up. I work in an architecture office and we are FINALLY starting to upgrade our computers. We have already purchased one computer. It is windows 7 64-bit. We use AutoCAD 2002 and the boss man wants to keep using AutoCAD 2002 because he has everything set up just the way he wants it.
