  1. I'm trying to fillet all of the edges of the winding extrusions on this part. I've circled one section that partially filleted, with the exception of the narrow curve. When I try to do other areas this error comes up: Modeling Operation Error: Could not find acceptable sequence of capping faces to trim blend face. Failed to perform blend. Failure while filleting. Any thoughts? I'm running the student version of AutoCAD 2015 3d Pauldron 2.dwg

    Large fillet won't work

Hello, I have a part with an arc'd side profile, and an extrusion that goes from one edge to roughly middle of the ark. Next step is a smooth transition between the profile and the top of the extrusion. Inventor is letting me do a .5mm fillet but no larger because of "complex geometry". I don't understand what the problem is, but I need at least 3-4mm fillet that goes smoothly from top surface of the part to the top of the extrusion. I've tried different ways, don't know what else to do. Thanks for your help! Attached: - Screenshot with desired fillet on part marked red and orange - Photo reference to describe roughly the look I'm going for, outer edge marked with red dots - Inventor part zipped ForearmLeft2.zip
  3. Hi everyone, last time I used AutoCad was back in 2009, and I am having trouble remembering/ finding a few things in my 2011 version; I could use your help please. First I am still editing my 3D objects in the 2d workspace, how do I switch to the 3D workspace (with the white background)? Also, I made 3D rectangles with lines and converted them to blocks so I could name them specific things and I am having trouble chamfering or filleting the edges? Am I missing a step or something? Thank you!
  4. I would like to fillet a box, which has already been filleted, with a radius of 3, but cannot seem to get it working. Can anybody please advise? See attached. I am currently running acad 2009. Thanks in advance. cellphone.dwg
