1. My question is not related to CAD directly, however some of you may help to get a proper answer. It is about drawing 3 views of an object. My daughter is a 1st semester student in Mechanical Engineering dept. She has drawing course. She asks me to help her with following problem. Two views from three views (top-front- side) of an object is given. She has to draw the 3rd view without knowing the perspective of the object. She knows the basics but mess up when the question becomes hard. What is your comments for helping her to master imagination techniques? Is there any downloadable book in this regard? I have heard about a software which helps with mastering this techniques but a search in Google was not helpful.
2. Hi, this lisp is working in 2D only: it generate a perspective view from a selected 2D plan or elevation. 1. Command: P2D 2. Select the source frame (trapezoid polyline) of the plan or elevation 3. Select drawing objects in that source plan or elevation 4. Select destination frame >>> a new perspective drawing would be draw arcordingly (see image and example drawing) 5. Repeat step 4 until you select none It is working only with straight lines, straight polylines and points. Pretty useful when you want to take a leap up from your 2D, for but donot have time to create a 3D model. New version on Apps Exchange Store, extrusion enabled P2D EXAMPLE.dwg P2D command.LSP
3. Here's the task: The figure in 3D: What I've done so far: I have no idea how to proceed. I'm sorry if it's the 2nd identical thread by me. But I have the feeling that I haven't submitted the first one.
