reset Filedia to 1? Also check to make sure that you are saving to 2010.

Here is what the help file says

When FILEDIA is set to 0 (zero), SAVEAS displays the following command prompts.

Current file format: current

Enter file format [R14(LT98&LT97)/2000(LT2000)/2004(LT2004)/      2007(LT2007)/2010(LT2010)/Standards/DXF/Template] :

Enter an option or press Enter

Save drawing as : Enter a name or press Enter

Hope that helps.

I can not set my save type to CAD 2010 since there are a few different versions running in the office and if it happens to go out of office (unusual but happens) I can not be sure they are using the newest.

Either way changing the Filedia doesn't seem to work.

Anyone else?

We were having so many problems saving from 2010 (civil 3d) to back versions

that we finnaly switched everyone over to 2010.

I am hitting save not save as....

FYI: The SAVE button (by default) executes the QSAVE command, not the SAVE command.

QSAVE, SAVE, and SAVEAS are three different commands.
