I need help with timing belt dynamic simulation!

I dont think the belt actually moves, just the pulleys. It has to do with the teeth on the belt i believe.

 

It almost sounds like some post work putting a few gif's together might work in your case.

if you look closely at it, the belt and pulley are not actually moving together(out of time).

Here is an example one of my students did (see very last one in this series).

This is similar to how I would do it with the belt actually a series of individual parts as the fudge. The timing would be synchronized with the pulleys.

hey guys..I recreated the belt with solid look instead of detailed (i.e: no teeth visible) but the problem is that it keeps telling me that the distance between two pulleys must be fixed,and i double checked them and they were fixed!!
