Devilinity Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 Do you "sunstatus" on? The sun is turned off but the sky is turned on ... Quote
Devilinity Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 i was curious about this so i gave it a quick shot. a black block in the center that has shinyness and opacity at 100 and a 1.25refraction index and 75 self illumination. and a sphere on the block that has low opacity/high translucency, a point light inside it that cast shadows, and a blue diffusion color. i also just used a spot light and the sun to reflect the shingle material off the wall onto the block. strange that in one it doesn't reflect the block but only cast the shadow but it reflects the ball Quote
shift1313 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 im not sure i follow what you mean, doesnt reflect the block. since the ball has a point light inside it you would not be able to see any reflection on the ball itself. Quote
