ccowgill Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 any particular reason not to use a solid hatch? That is what we currently do. Quote
Daftlad Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I find that using solid hatch makes the logo come out as a "blob" of colour. May just be me but this is how i have always seen Logo's in AutoCAD. Quote
ccowgill Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 to each their own, I just think it looks better on the screen, when using true color it seems to look pretty decent when printing out, but that could be because our hatch boundaries are on a non plot layer, so all we see is the hatch when it plots. Daftlad Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Ahh okay, well this is the first time I have done anything like this so maybe the next one will be better. Quote
CADkitt Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) I'm using a external image, and behind the image is internal text with: Don't use this document external. Internal images got compressed very bad. Using autocad logo wasn't possible because the logo color wasn't in the layer standard( I got an answer it is working now so why change it.) irneb Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 If you're happy with it like it is, then don't change it. Just note there are possible problems, not insurmountable though. And you should be able to use any of the 16 million RGB colours in either layer / entity colour - you don't need to only restrict yourself to the 255 standard ACI colours. Quote
CADkitt Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Until some ict guy thinks he should change the drive letter or clean-up old cad files. Then the **** hits the fan. Quote
