JackStone Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) I'm sorry for bumping this old thread but I've been having some problems with that. When I choose "Configure Current" I get a fatal error and AutoCAD shuts down. Does anybody know how to fix that? I just wish to change the colors to use a black background. EDIT: Problem solved.Situation is the following: "Configure Current" simply will not work on 64-Bit OS (that is what I have heard, don't know if there are exceptions). So what you do is configure your colors on a machine that runs 32-Bit OS, close AutoCAD (this is fundamental) and then copy the file VLIDE.DSK (stored in a hidden folder that can be found through a simple search) from this 32-Bit OS computer to your 64-Bit computer, replacing the old one (standard colors). Don't know if there are other ways to solve this. I'm very happy I found this solution, though. Could not stand that white background. Edited October 27, 2011 by JackStone Quote
