Read threads showing up as UNread?

Is anyone else having this issue, besides me?

Not sure if this has been happening prior to the extended *labor day* weekend, but it's happening to me now repeatedly.

I hit *What's New?* button, read a thread, hit *What's New?* again (to update list), and the thread just read shows as unread (this goes for threads I post in and those I do not).

Very confusing.

No, it has been (and is) working fine for me.

My problem is at the other end: sometimes I log in, all the threads are marked as read. Since first time it occurred, the forum software was changed several times and also I tried several versions of Firefox and IE. Now I learnt to go with that.

Seems to be working fine for me. Keep an eye on it and let me know if there is any change.

This *issue* I am having appears to be relegated to my work computer (Dell Precision M4500)... I try to use FireFox for most online activity at work, as I can also use the same browser at home on my MacBook.

Edit: I do not experience this behavior from my home computer, or my iPhone's Safari browser.

When I view the site through Internet Explorer 8 at work (mandated by IT), the site performs normally. What is interesting to me, is that other forums do not suffer this issue, even through FF (one of which is also vBulletin, the other being SimpleMachines).

What is most perplexing to me, is that prior to leaving for the weekend (my Laptop came home with me, and never left my travel bag), all was well... I cannot think of what may be causing this. I've re-opened FF, I've logged off/on, I've even restarted. *very confused*

In any event, I'm getting my new work computer shortly (Dell Precision M6600)... hopefully this will not continue to be the case.

Cheers!

Interestingly, this thread acts normally... meaning it appears as read once I've been to the thread, then hit "What's New?" again.

No other thread (here at CADTutor) is *responding* correctly for me when using FireFox as my browser, on my work computer.

Edit: Not even this thread (I just checked). *sigh*

The *What's New* section *seems* to *be* working *fine* for *me*, but *then* I *don't* check *it* all *too* often, *I* tend *to* look *at* the *threads* in *bold* instead...

No need for subtlety, my friend; say what you got to say....

Well, after much frustration over this, I went through FireFox's Options, deleted all CADTutor cookies and that seems to have resolved my issue.
