3D generator Posted October 17, 2011 Share Posted October 17, 2011 No, I don't have any first hand experience with CAM software, mainly because it tends to be very expensive. Probably the most cost effective software is RhinoCAM: http://rhinocam.com/ This of course means investing in Rhino as well: http://www.rhino3d.com/ The good news is that Rhino is relatively inexpensive when compared to other 3d modeling systems. Another plus is that it's a command line driven platform much like AutoCAD so the learning curve is not very steep if you're an AutoCAD user.
