ecodesignsd
On mac type: (Command button) and (.) This will show you model / Paper space options and solve that problem. I got crazy because my bottom toolbar disappear and I still cant get it back... let me know pls how to find it. It is not on the tool window bar. I need other commands on that tool bar like ortho, osnap, etc... Thanks!
Dadgad
Welcome to CADTutor. I have never used CAD on a Mac, so this may not help you. It sounds like you have enabled CLEAN SCREEN, which on a PC can be toggled by clicking on the screen icon in the lower right corner of your screen, or by using CTRL+0. I hope that helps you. Or if not, you could try _.cleanscreenoff at the commandline. Edited May 6, 2014 by Dadgad

djleon
Hello Ecodesign, Thank you for this information. You may be able to type "command 0" to turn cleanscreen off, or type "ribbon," but what I think you are looking for is TOOLS>PALETTES>STATUS BAR. Good luck! Dana W
Try Options >> Display tab >> Second check box down Show Drawing Status Bar. Whoops, this was a PC answer, not a mac answer. I suppose a better more generic solution might have been F1 >> Index >> type Status Bar >> click display. Then again in the more recent versions the Help Window has become somewhat nebulous, complicated, and obfuscated.
