EmeraldSynth Posted yesterday at 08:56 PM Posted yesterday at 08:56 PM Hello! I'm in the final stages of the Oleson Village project. But I'm a bit unsure about how to go about making and filling in the bar scale. Is the scale for the whole drawing, or specific parts? Oh I tried scaling it up to 50 for the title block like you suggested in a previous post, but it was a bit too small. So I scaled up to 58, which works well. Does it have to be 50? Quote

I used circles to find intersection points then ran a line from the intersections back to the center of the cul-de-sac. Lot #4 - red circle. Copy the north streetline of SW Kensington Street to the intersection of the west boundary line of lot #4 and the south property line. This will give you the south property line of lots #5 and 6. This line is the north edge of the buffer area between the back of the lots and SW Kensington Street. Lot #5 - yellow circle. Lot #6 - green circle. OK...gotta go. Catch up with you on Saturday. Good night. Addendum: I messed up on lot #6. See the image attached to post #47. There should be a small segment of property line (23.06 feet) going off in a northeasterly direction. My apologies. Somehow I erased some of my lines... How did you come up with the radius for the circles on Lots 5 and 6? Quote
ReMark Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Re: Bar scale construction. I used the Rectangle, Line and Hatch commands. Yes, the scale is for the whole subdivision drawing. The correct scale for the title block and border is 50 and not 58. Re: Lot lines. I used the supplied property line dimensions as provided in the instructions. Edited 4 hours ago by ReMark Quote
EmeraldSynth Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Got it. And thank you all that you did to help others over the years. Even though it's been 12 years, , it's still helping me and I'm sure others too. PF sure hasn't given us the resources we need, along with confusing instructions. But at least they have made changes to things. So many thanks! Quote
007 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Thank you for your kind words. Someday P-F might get their act together and address the problems with their project instructions and their so-called instructors. Good luck in your endeavors now and in the future. Quote
