ReMark
It was the only one on sale. You wouldn't buy the wrong size shoes just because they were on sale would you? Yes, they would still be a pair of shoes but they wouldn't fit your needs.
ReMark
Sorry, here is the attachment again: I hope that the attachment is now OK. What purpose do all the Xlines serve in this particular drawing? Seems a bit much for what you have actually drawn (the blue, rectangular solid). Your drawing has 6 points, a line, and 9 Xlines all to draw a single 0.04x0.271x1.624 rectangular solid tilted 4 degrees. You could draw the rectangle in 2D using the Rectangle command. Extrude or PressPull to the required height then rotate it 4 degrees using the Rotate command. By the way, the PressPull command was not part of AutoCAD 2000 therefore the book you bought is lacking a piece of useful information regarding the 3D capabilities of AutoCAD 2014. Edited August 26, 2014 by ReMark It's PRESS mark not PUSH. OMG!
JD Mather
.... By the way, the PushPull command was not part of AutoCAD 2000 .... And does not exist in the current release either? I think you meant "presspull"?
ReMark
Press...Push...Pulverize...Pulitzer. Must have the Push-Pull Theory on my mind. I stand corrected and will fix my mistake forthwith if not sooner.
