I cannot see how or between what you wish to interpolate to arrive at final from input since the additional text items bear no resemblance levels wise to the existing. ITS OK SIR THANKS FOR UR VALUABLE TIME...... Quote

dlanorh Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 OK that helps, but random can mean extremely close to either end, which is why i need to know how close is acceptable. See also the attached revised drawing. The attached lisp should insert a random level between 0.1 and 0.9 of the distance between the selected texts. If this is incorrect or needs altering let me know. Drawing32(questions).dwg infill_levels3.lsp Quote

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you want. This is a 3d line so : Possible answers : 1. Interpolate a level every ?m 2D (horizontal distance) 2. Interpolate a level every ?m 3D (slope distance) Also you want the distances in metres but the insertion drawing units are in inches, so I don't know whether the drawing is metric or imperial let alone if it is in millimetres or metres Quote
