I know the post count name debate has appeared on several occasions, but never has there been a requirement to consider for so many posts...

David, I think something needs to be dreamed up for ReMark as, at his current rate, he's targetted on reaching it in less than a year!

Suggestions on a postcard??? (Possibly "The Terminator" in recognition?)

Good going ReMark!

Why don't we base them on variables / commands / procedures of AutoCAD ?
Or would that be too geeky?

Not even close to this rate...
Lee Mac has 5,164 post in 336 days.
So only ±314 more days until Lee Mac hits 10,000

Nobody else in the top 20 started as recent as 11 months ago...

Hmmm ReMark needs 2000 posts, his post rate is 6/ day therefore 333 days at his current rate, so it is pretty close.

Lee Mac is running well at 15.5 posts a day and needs 4800, so I make it around 310 days.

Either way there's a good race on for the undisclosed Holy Grail of CADTutor... :)

My first thought was perhaps a title of "Omni-Luminous Being" that could be updated to "Omni-Luminous Spirit" in another six months! Then perhaps "Member Of The Q Continuum" .......then my head hurt, so it is up to you guys with an oddly "exponential" solution.

The following title shall be bestowed upon the person who reaches 10,000 posts (chats not included).

Lord Chief Justice, Chancellor of the Exchequer, Master of the Buckhounds, Lord High Auditor, Groom of the Back Stairs, and Lord High Everything Else.

This can be shortened to Grand Poo-bah for the sake of space and brevity.:lol::lol:

Someone with way too much idle time on their hands started this thread.

OK...here's the breakdown as far as I can determine (accurate to +/-5%).

Welcoming newbies: 2100
Saying “You’re entirely welcomed.”: 1700
Asking questions in response to first post: 1850
Asking follow-up questions: 625
Guessing at answer: 575
Recommending Cadalyst magazine: 375

Linking to AUGI website: 120
Taking thread off-topic or idle chit-chat: 86
Arguing with forum members:25

Now, can we stop talking about the numbers? They don't mean anything other than I too have too much free time on my hands.

A quote from Ruk, on the original Star Trek series:

Yes.
Yes. It had been so long ago, I had forgotten.
The old ones here.
The ones who made us, yes.
Yes, it is still in my memory banks.

We could call them "the Old Ones, the Ones who made us"
