  1. I'm looking to save some time (aren't we all). We draw in many different colors to help our, sometimes, complicated dwgs easier to work with and differentiate between things. But our end product is a black and white drawing. Is there a lisp out there for toggling to white background and all black everything else? I can plot a dwg, wait for it to load, open it, review and then make changes and repeat as necessary. Or, ideally, I can hit one button, review and make changes on the fly before the plotting process. Plot previews are also a bit cumbersome. I hate to post this, as it is most likely out there but the search function with this forum can be a bit shaky. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, -Nobull
  2. I have made updates to an old library block (file) and saved my changes. We have a custom menu, custom program and dialog box shows all different blocks to choose from and I frequently use it. The inserted block shows updates correctly but wont change the thumbnail preview inside the dialog box. Its not an attribute block or a dynamic block. Is there anyway to resolve the preview issue?
  3. Recently starting having this problem. 1-2 months ago it was not a problem. I am not aware of any system variables being changed. When using the WBLOCK command, no thumbnail preview is being saved with the block for previewing in Windows Explorer. I have check the RASTERPREVIEW system variable is set to 1, but this makes no difference. When saving files normally I do not have a problem. The block previews are very useful for my day to day work, so if anyone can help I will be very grateful. Using AutoCAD 2011. Thanks, Gary
  4. I'm trying to plot a large poster (108" long) onto a 36" wide roll of paper. The image, texts, and leader plotted fine; the polylines and mtext did not. Everything shows up in the preview, but the two mentioned items don't actually get plotted onto the paper.
