  1. Does anyone know how to add the profile elevation to the section view band style? I have a case where the profile is theoretical because it is under a median for the majority of the project. Because of this, I have my assemblies 4” above the profile grade line. I would like the sections to show the existing elevation (easy enough) and the profile elevation, not the section elevation. Any suggestions? Thanks. Quick update for anyone else with this issue: For a temporary answer, I made a second corridor without an offset in the assembly and sampled it in the section view, but did not draw them, then used that section elevation.
  2. Joseph Marquez

    Profile question.

Sorry if this has been posted before but I cant seem to find it anywhere and I am sure people have wondered this before. I was wondering why there is a big space in the middle of all our profiles. It is just bothering me because I feel like something is supposed to go there. Here is what I am talking about:
  3. I have uploaded a photo of mine. It appears in my profile page but doesn't in my posts. How can I resolve this issue?
  4. I use to have a lisp routine that would draw lines in a profile by typing in the station and the elevation. is this possible anymore. Every lisp routine i find is so complicated, i just want something simple.
  5. Hi all, I'm working on street profiles and I am trying to use Civil 3D's (2011) Profile Labels - Major Station Labels. I've gotten the labels to display, but they rotate in relationship to the profile line. I'd like all of the station labels to be oriented at the same angle (90°). Does anybody know how to do this, or if it is possible? Thanks.
  6. Can a part of a loft profile be made with a 3D polyine? I have seen profiles done using 2D ellipses, but I just want to see if at least one of the profiles can be done 3 dimensionally, or if that would mess up the command? Thanks for the help.
