  1. I used to have these icons as shown in red circle on the bottom pic but they are no longer there and i don't know how can i bring them back on the Layer prop Manager. Please help Thanks Example from what i am looking for in red circle
  2. We have changed the color, line weight and description of specific layers. We used to use Layer state to update the layers, now we use the design center. Changes made in Example 1. Example 2 has the wrong layers - so Design center is open, layers from Example 1 are dragged and dropped into Example 2. Layers still wrong. Example1.dwg This is the Example 1.
  3. Hello, I typically work in autocad with the Layer Properties Manager open on my other screen (dual screen setup). I have been having no problem with freezing and other layer management tasks on other files. But on a particular file, the simple task of freezing a layer takes 20 seconds. Other simple tasks like saving and switching to a layout sheet also take near 30 seconds. There only seems to be a few files that ever do this to me....any ideas would be appreciated! I have all xrefs updated and she'd purged and audited. Also, does having the layer properties manager or properties manager dialogue windows open at all times dramatically complicate autocad's processes?
  4. Not sure how my settings got screwed up, but I can't get them back into where I like them. I had my Layer Properties Manager and Properties pallets docked to the left side, and had the Layer Property Manager pop out at a specific height-(tall enough only to show the 10 layers in my drawings) so as to still be able to view most of the screen. Now, the palettes are 'locked' in height- (anchored to the left, but full window height), and I can not re-size it unless I un-dock...but when I re-dock, it goes back to full window height. Does that make sense? I have no idea what changed/how.
  5. Is it possible to maximize the layer properties manager's windows so that all columns are visible with no need for horizontal scolling?
