  1. Why? because all the other threads I've checked did not solve the problem. The problem is, if I go to LINETYPE => Load, I get the following error: Bad definition of FENCELINE1 at line 119 of file C://Users/danlun/Documents/ACAD/CAD Resources/acad.lin This then repeats for Fenceline2 (line 121), TRACKS (line 123), BATTING (line 125), ZIGZAG (line 137), and PROPLINE (line 154). This started when I modified a copy of the original acad.lin with a custom linetype called PROPLINE which looks like so: *PROPLINE,Property Line ___ _ _ ___ PL ___ _ _ ___ PL ___ _ A,.5,-.2,["PL
  2. Hey guys its my first thread out here so i hope i will find help..Well i 've currently create several layers and after i change in one of 'em the linetype from continuous to a "Dashed" , every new layer i made had a "dashed" linetype and when i tried to change it back to default , it didnt.. Help!
  3. I am having an issue with the "upright" script in my ltype descriptions. Apparently it works the way it is supposed to and not the way I want it to. The upright is set to 0 which orients the text in linetypes to be shown as "upright" to the model space. In most design cases; not an issue, but I am designing construction plans along a roadway and as such, north is not always "upright" to my viewport. Is there a script (ie ...,u=v],... or ...,u=vp],...) that will orient my text based on the line displayed in the viewport? Thanks
  4. I'm not too familiar on how to edit the .lin file in autocad. I want to make a fenceline linetype with a red line a black X. I'm not sure how to make multicolored.
  5. Hi all I've already looked in acad.lin and acadiso.lin but CONES isn't there. I've attached my file with CONES linetype. Any tips on how I can edit it and understand how it was made would be much appreciated? Guy AutoCAD 2008, Windows XP Professional cones.dwg
