tzframpton Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 ok...that makes my choise even easyer. The fundamental drafting tools are all there. It's the functionality and advanced tools that are missing, along with certain abilities such as Lisp, Sheet Set Manager, 3D functionality, and some advanced drafting tools such as multiline, etc. Basic to intermediate CAD needs, it works perfectly fine. We have survived with it here at my office for years now. Quote
Glen1980 Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I am using 2010LT and you definitely can object snap track I would be lost if I had to go back to 2007LT! I have used full versions of 2000, 2004 and 2007 and every LT since 2005 (maybe 2004) and 2010Lt is getting pretty close to closing the gap with full version (with the exception of Lisp and 3d) Now you can: Edit x-refs and blocks in place X-Clip Create and clip viewports to polylines rather than just having rectangular viewports. I know all of you full version users will scoff that you've had those commands for years but it brought some warmth to my heart when I used this version for the first time! If you don't do 3d then 2010 really is an option now for us mere CAD monkeys (but don't tell the management I said that!) Quote
f700es Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Oh there is nothing wrong with LT. If it fits your needs then save some $$ and get to drawing. Quote
