Thought i had tried everything possible, but what actually worked was setting the color for the elements / layers that appear grey to TRUE COLOR 0,0,0 instead of e.g. black / color 250. This works for me, at least. Seems to me that it's especially the DWG to PDF-printer that makes lines and text grey, but then again, that specific pdf-printer is better at creating the right rotation for the PDFs (portrait / landscape), compared to the standard adobe pdf-printer.
