Alan M Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 Just tried to install Trueview FAILED Oh hell Quote
the ber Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Did it give you some error message about why it failed? You might need to install a new version of .NET or something. Are you using XP or later? Quote
DANIEL Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 is your windows 7 a 32 bit installation or a 64 bit? I've had several plotter issues with the 32 bit installations. Quote
RobDraw Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Update .NET and you should be able to install TrueView. Quote

3dsets Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 install PrimoPDF , it acts as a printer in the system, then in AutoCAD plot to PDF then Primo will take over link: http://www.primopdf.com/ Quote
Alan M Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 (edited) Ok Finally got Trueview installed. Thanks guys. Plot is better ( only plots lines once ) but the scale is off. I have set the scale to 1:1 but it plots bigger (44mm line plots at 60mm) I think we are getting there but I think it needs a bit more of a tweak Also I am using A4 paper in the plotter ( paper size has been set in plotter setup but after the plot the carraige runs to the end of the rail? Tried again This time MUCH better but the pen draws a lne from its rest position to the start of the plot .Scale is ok now I have calibrated the plotter BTW I'm running 64bit Edited February 9, 2012 by Alan M Quote
ReMark Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 You're running LT 2000i (which is a 32-bit program) on a Win7 64-bit system. Great. For how long may I ask? Quote
SLW210 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 install PrimoPDF , it acts as a printer in the system, then in AutoCAD plot to PDFthen Primo will take over link: http://www.primopdf.com/ I use PrimoPDF at home, since I have no physical printer. It is nice for the price, free. I definitely recommend it. Quote
Alan M Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 I've been running the 32bit software on the 64bit PC for...... years!! I'm still not sure bout this PDf malarkey I have installed such a lot of stuff lately I'm not sure where I am:? Quote
ReMark Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Are you running 2000i using XP compatibility mode? Quote
Alan M Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) Not sure, How would I find out? I was running 2000iLT on xp then I upgraded to win 7 I think Win 7 may have done something because since the switch over I get an error message 'object does not support property or method 'JustAddWater'' and Autocad LT 'Today' does not work either.
