Tuns
What I'd do is draw a poly line or spline with a nail head at the start point then array the nail head along that line.
JayVee
Hey Tuns ~ have a look at my file: Nail design 3 (posted @ 11:10 today in this thread) The only type of Array that I've been able to accomplish, are straight lines. Is there a way of directing objects in an Array to follow curves & bends?
Tuns
If you use the "ARRAYPATH" command the array will follow along any curve as long as the curve is one p-line. That is kind of an example of what it looks like.
JayVee
Must try that! Thanks.

steven-g
It sort of past quietly unnoticed, but I would have thought your best option was given in post #7 by BIGAL, create your nailhead as a block and use the divide command, select your line or curve and when you are prompted for the number of segments to create type "b" instead and you will get a whole series of new prompts asking for the name of the block whether it should be oriented with the line and then how many should be placed. You can create as many nailhead designs as you want and place them easily this way.
