The CADTutor Download area provides AutoCAD drawing files and photo images for you to use free.
The AutoCAD drawings are all in AutoCAD R14 format. This means that they can be used in AutoCAD versions 14 and above. They can also be used in other applications such as 3D Studio and Bryce. See the Terrain Objects Tutorial to find out how to import AutoCAD drawings into 3D Studio.
The photo images are all in JPEG format and saved at high quality. In most cases, each image comes with an associated "mask" image that can be used to create a "cut-out". See the Image Masks Tutorial to find out how this is done.
All of the thumbnail images displayed in the Image Bank are hot clickable and link directly to the main image or drawing files. You will then be presented with a "Save As" file dialogue box. images/menu your way to the required destination and click on the "Save" button.
Note: Those of you using the Firefox or Netscape Navigator browser should select the "Save Link As…" option from the context menu.
