PressPull Leaves Original 2D Shape Behind After Move Command
autocad2014newbie posted a topic in AutoCAD 3D Modelling & RenderingI'm having this issue where I draw a 2D shape, then use PressPull to make it 3D successfully. The problem arises when I come to move the 3D model to the side, at the bottom where the original model was, a 2D model remains. Is this normal with PressPull? This doesn't happen when using Extrude. I'm trying to figure out if it will be a problem when trying to join two models at the corners or?
Please Help With PressPull!!!
ntremaglio posted a topic in AutoCAD 3D Modelling & RenderingHello, I am semi-new to AutoCAD but have a fairly good knowledge of how to work the program now. However, I am continuously having problems with the presspull command. When I try to use the command on an object, the object is raised but not filled. It looks sort of like a fence/outline around the border of the object with a grid pattern. This is really frustrating. How do I fix this??
Presspull and Option doubts
Staghelm posted a topic in AutoCAD 3D Modelling & RenderingHey Community of AC, i've been working on my thesis, im creating pieces of 3d to hold a servomotor, and ill print it on a 3d printer, will be my first time and i dont want any mistakes since it cost some money, so while creating the piece i've been using a lot of Union-Extrude-Presspulls but using the P-P i've encountered with some lines that bothers me and makes no sense.. it seems like is 2 blocks united but it is not. ist just marks the line whenever i do the P-P, i have attach the picture so you can help me, what i want to know if i should ignore it, and it wont print 2 pieces instead of one, i tried removing the whole separated part, created a new box bigger than that one then i united and the same exact lines appears.. Another thing before i print, is there an option that shows me if its a space between 2 pieces, for example if 2 pieces are united and it has like 0.000001mm of space between them the 3d printer will print 1 piece but ill separate in 2 when you use some force.. i deff dont want that to happen to me. I want to be sure that the entire piece is in one piece.. can i see that with an option? Sorry for bad english, i Attached the picture with the problems of the line and the entire Drawing so you can see for yourself. Thanks in advance. para forum.dwg
3D kerb stone modelling AutoCAD 2013
complete posted a topic in AutoCAD 3D Modelling & RenderingHi, I have been trying to model a kerb stone in 3D. For the straight section I have no issues at all. But for the curved section I just cant get the edge detail into my model. I have attached a picture of my models. I did my curved design by drawing a circle with the desired raduis and offset the circle by required distance. Then after trimming and joining I used PRESSPULL to lift it. If anyone could provide assistance it would be very helpful. For the straight section I can draw the front face and just pull it by PRESSPULL, but I cant seem to do it with the cuvred section. Is there a way to draw the face and use PRESSPULL and pull it at an desired angle or radius? If anyone could provide some information it would be helpful. Thanks, M.I
