  1. Let’s say you have DWG title block template file, “DAY” with attributes tagged, “B” and “C”. You also have XLSX file, “CAL” with column A rows, (1 thru 7), column B rows, (ONE thru SEV) and column C rows, (SUN thru SAT). How do you use any programing method to create 7 drawings automatically using the template and the worksheet, numbered sequentially so that file “6.dwg” would contain title block displaying “SIX” and “FRI”? Thank You in advance. If I may be any more specific, please ask.
  2. Hello all and thank you in advance for help. I am familiar with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Mechanical, but I am new to Inventor. There are several detail files that I have had to go into and make changes. When I save, the plot command either pops up prompting me to plot or all the pages in the detail automatically plot. If I have my printer properties open, I can cancel this before it plots. Is there a way to turn this off in Inventor 2014?
  3. Greetings, this is my first post so I hope it's in the right place. I have an AutoCAD 2009 user who is having a very strange problem. He will open a drawing to edit it. At some point during his editing process the same drawing opens again in read/write mode. This causes problems because he has mistakenly saved over his edits with the old version that he did not edit. I have tried googling this particular problem but have only found this forum and some other sites that suggest malware on the PC. I have ruled out malware and now I'm humbly asking for any advice/suggestions you can give me to fix this issue. Has anyone ever heard of this problem? I've found many sites that talk about "stealing focus" but not any mention of opening of duplicate files with read/write permissions.
  4. Hello! My problem is when working in this project that one of my files that doesnt contain any civil 3d entities references some of my pipe networks from another dwg without me having telling it to do so:ouch:. So I delete all the pipes thats comes in uninvited but the next time i open the dwg its there again. Any solutions?
  5. I finally got around to writing this tutorial which hopefully encompasses everything a user might need to know on the topic of loading programs on startup. Loading Programs Automatically As always, your feedback is very welcome should you have any suggestions for improvement, criticism, or indeed discover mistakes in the content. Enjoy! Lee
