Define Global Variable Name
bcarlso2 posted a topic in AutoLISP, Visual LISP & DCLIs it possible using AutoLISP to define a variable name from the command line when running a function? I want to input the name when running it from the command line. Can I do this and still have the variable be global? If so, how would I go about that? Thanks in advance.
Mtext Attributes Global change?
CADMAN_RON posted a topic in AutoCAD GeneralHi, Does someone know if it's possible to do a "global change" (values) to Attributes in MText? I'm using 2010. Those MText attributes are practical but a pain in the neck for my existing tools! Merci beaucoup!

BUrBaKy posted a topic in .NET, ObjectARX & VBAHi all! Here's my problem: I have a open drawing in witch i'm currently working. From time to time during the work i need to insert a block with attributes. I'm inserting it with values chosen through a Form from an excel file. The problem is that it's taking too long to open the excel file each time i want to insert a block. My macro opens the file, gets some values to my form (in comboboxes), i push a button and it insert's the block. Then the macro ends. Then i continue drawing and after that i need to insert again and the procedure repeats its self. Instead I want to open the excel file just one time at the beginning of my work and load the information needed in some sort of global array or something that i can use multiple times during the session. Is that possible?
Change color for every line in the drawing.
SteveCW19 posted a topic in AutoCAD 2D Drafting, Object Properties & InterfaceHello. I currently have a 2D drawing of my company's building map. Some of the parts of the map were originally placed in red. I want the WHOLE MAP IN BLACK. The only way as of right now that I can do this is to go to -Tools - block editor then change each line separately. This is extremely time consuming. Does anyone know of a possible solution to get every single line in the document as black?
