  1. Hi, Can anyone help me to write a lisp function to sort the points (assume the intersection points) on a polyline? With my code, I have a polyline object and a set of intersection points on it. I need to calculate the cumulative distance between those points and vertex points consecutively. Thanks,
  2. From how I understand it, if I execute the trim command and hit space without selecting a cutting edge, it will trim any line I click on to the nearest apparent intersection. With complex drawings, this sometimes means I have to click several times to trim one short line segment because so many apparent intersections exist. Is there a setting that will let me use this functionality to trim only at real intersections where the lines actually cross rather than at apparent intersections?
  3. For some reason, When I run my corridor threw the intersection with three total alignments it does not pull profiles for two of the quadrants (this being the third one down on the very first list when creating an intersection) As for the other two quadrants, they run their profile down to zero. This is driving me bonkers. I even pulled in the engineer and he is lost. Now coming up on 6 hours for this. As you all know must stay with in a budget. I would greatly appreciate to know why its not creating profiles for the two and zero profiles for the other quadrants. Thank you, Miller

    Holes in the Intersection command

When using the Intersection Wizard in Civil 3D (2013) I get holes (spaces of non-filled in areas) in the intersection corridors that make up the intersection corridor. Why and how do I fix them?
  5. Hello, I'm having a hard time finding the solution for my problem. I want to create a dynamic block in Autocad 2014 In this block I need to determine the intersection between 2 lines. In the sample you'll see my problem. I want to make A, B and C variables in my block. The angle on top is always 90 degrees. With this information I can draw everything, but I don't know how to make the intersection properly, and keep it clean when manipulating the variables. Variable A has to be positive between 1 and 89 degrees, there are no restrictions on the variables C. Any help is much appreciated mvrp350 intersection problem.dwg
  6. Does any body have any idea how can we find out the Text and Polyline intersection location using Autolisp? It will be better if we can mark error circles on a perticular layer on the intersection. Thanks in advance

    Corridor Intersections

I am having some trouble with the intersection tool. The results are never what is intended. Is there a way to create the intersection manually? I tried pasting both primary and secondary road corridor surfaces into a new surface, then used feature lines to connect the curbs on the returns. Then I added those to the new surface as breaklines. The results were just as hideous. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
  8. I really like the intersection command's dynamic pvis on the sideroads-wherein I can move my main road alignment around and the sideroad will come with it. That would be handy to know how to do so I would not have to rework (maybe )all my driveways when I move my alignment profile. Does anyone know how to go about that? Thanks

    Problems with spiny corridor

Hello! I have some new problems ( I think I´ll run into problably 20 new problems every day) that makes me confused. I have attached som photos of the problems. My corridors daylightrockcut and their lanes sometimes streches away to be somewhere in china, but i live in sweden. And my corridors are very spiny(?) when i look at them in 3d views, but my corridor surfaces lookin good. Any one have any idea of what im doing wrong here? thanks!
